Sentara Medical Group is excited to invite dedicated Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic Neurosurgery Specialists teams at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Sentara Careplex Hospital. Become part of a collaborative and highly skilled group of 10 neurosurgeons and 12 Advanced Practice Providers who prioritize quality care, teamwork, and professional growth.

Position Highlights:

· Rotating schedule with occasional nights and weekends

· Competitive nighttime and weekend differentials

· Provide care for patients in a variety of settings to include the Emergency Department, Neuro Critical Care Unit, Trauma, and Medical floors

· Participate in emergent bedside procedures and assist in surgeries performed at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (a 543-bed tertiary care center with a Level 1 Trauma designation), Virginia Beach General Hospital, and Careplex Hospital

· Utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic health record system to streamline patient care
